March Is National Caffeine Awareness Month

Did you know that March is National Caffeine Awareness Month? I was reading about this yesterday as I was drinking a glass of water! I would much rather have been drinking a glass of coke! In 2008 I slowly started cutting down on my caffeine intake. By January of 2009 I was down to 12 ounces of coke a day.

It has not been easy! There are so many times throughout the day that I want to grab more caffeine for that quick fix! Instead I try to drink a glass of water or two! Water hydration! Telling myself that just replenishing my fluids will wake me up! I'm not convinced it is working but I am not giving up! I can change my caffeine habit day by day!

The month of March is the perfect month to work on drinking more water! I will work on my energy level through exercise and getting more rest!

I'm right there with you on trying to 86 the caffeine outta my life...actually I am focusing more on artificial sweeteners, and getting them out...but I still drink liberal amounts of unsweetened ice tea. Diet pepsi actually tastes gross to me now!

Is it OK if I choose to misinterpret the title as meaning I need to drink as much caffeine as possible??

Hearted your shop and will definitely be looking for tools there.

Ugh...okay now you have made me feel really guilty. I am 8 mos pregnant and still indulge in a hot tea in the morning and a coke in the afternoon even though I KNOW I should cut it out...

Michele-
I agree about the artifical sweeteners-I do feel better when I don't have them!

Melina and Denise-
Yes! I used to start every day with at least 2 Cokes so I was right there with you!
Thanks for the heart-looking forward to seeing you around!

Birdhouse Accents-
I'm glad you've cut back-that is exactly what I did!

Susan-
