Lancome

Right before Christmas I stopped by the Lancome counter for a makeover. It has been a long time since I purchased all new make up and it was such a fun experience. Herberger's was full of customers...the hustle and bustle of the holiday season was in full swing.

I walked up to the counter and the sales associate immediately smiled and greeted me sincerely. We talked for a moment or two about my needs, then I sat down for the full experience. She asked all the right questions, and then gave me a couple of options. In fact I loved both the lip shades she chose for me and I can't resist having great 'lips'! She was patient with me and even though there were a lot of other customers around the counter her focus was on me because they were staffed for a busy day! What a refreshing experience! Because she was able to focus on me of course I purchased more than I intended when I walked in! I left feeling really good about myself and the whole experience!

It is now two months later and today as I was getting ready to meet a new client I was applying my make up. As I put on my 'lips' I smiled at my reflection. I felt put together and ready to greet the day and my new client. Thanks to a pleasant and sincere experience at the Lancome counter at Herberger's!

What? No pictures to go with such a rave review?

A picture! Oh way too funny at the end of the day! Truly laughing!

The good news is the waterproof mascara is still on and looks great! The famous lengthening, separating and lash defining power
really works!

The bad news is I have basically rubbed off all my eye shadow! Not really a good look!

Good thing I have makeup remover!

A picture! I'm still laughing!

I'm jealous. I could stand to just put some gloss on. Slacking over here. Your experience sounds awesome.

I always wondered what it would be like to have a makeover. I had a makeup consultation with a Mary Kay Specialist many years ago but it was basically she directed and I applied. Since I'm not and never was one for a lot of makeup, or "grease paint" as my father called it, I thought that when I finished I looked like a clown. But that's me. I've known others who have had makeovers and they looked fantastic and it showed in their new found glow!
Sounds like you had a great time and much success for your new found beauty!
