Lumberjack Days Stillwater Minnesota July 23rd-July 26th 2009

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend I know just the place for you to be! Lumberjack Days in Stillwater, MN runs July 23rd-July 26 this year. Most of the festivities are held in Lowell Park adjacent to the beautiful St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater. The festivities include lumberjack shows, a parade, an authentic 1860's baseball game and fireworks. My personal favorite festivities are the concerts featuring the best in local and national acts performing in concert on the famous "Floating Stage" on the beautiful St. Croix River.

If you are looking for a fun, family event this weekend please check out Lumberjack Days!

Blowing Bubbles

Blowing bubbles is always so much fun! Take a break today to mix up the bubble solution and share the laughter the bubbles create with the ones you love!

Doing Laundry

One of my favorite household tasks is doing laundry! I know, I know! How crazy is that?!? I love taking the laundry out of the washer and hanging the clothes on the clothes line! Once the laundry is dry it is so fun to fold it because it is so crisp and clean! The laundry smells delightful, fresh and invigorating! I always have such a feeling of accomplishment when I do household tasks! What is your favorite household task? I love doing laundry!

Taking The Afternoon Off

Today I took the afternoon off! It was spontaneous and fun! We went to an afternoon matinee! We had pop and popcorn! Sometimes you have to put your work aside for a couple of hours and do something that is out of character!

When was the last time you took the afternoon off and what did you do that was spontaneous and fun?
