Screwdriver Set Giveaway

We have our own private label screwdriver set! A couple of years ago we made a connection with a company here in the U.S.A. and also in China. This relationship led to the development of our own private label screwdriver set. It was a great learning experience working on importing our own product. From the inception to the packaging and then to the distribution it has been a journey. It wasn't always easy, but the end result has been very exciting. We have the screwdriver sets available for retail as well as wholesale so if you are interested please let us know!

BUY IT: You can purchase our screwdriver set at Evie's Tool Emporium.

WIN IT: One lucky U.S.A. reader will win a screwdriver set. To enter FIRST YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER OF OUR BLOG. Next visit Evie's Tool Emporium and tell us what other tool you would love to have from our shop.

Giveaway ends January 19th at 12:00 pm. U.S.A. winner will be picked via Random.org. If your profile page does not show your email address, please include your email address in your comment. Fun On The Internet Today - Sign Up For The Upcoming Bead Soup Blog Party

Last year I stumbled upon a really fun activity hosted by Lori Anderson on her Pretty Things Blog. She hosts a Soup Blog Party which invites jewelry artists to exchange Party Packs. Then each artist creates wonderful jewelery from the Party Packs they have received. Each artist has a blog so they post photos of the jewlry they have created. For me the most exciting part of the activity is reading and looking at all the photos of the creations.

If this sounds fun to you please feel free to check out Lori's blog post Bead Soup Blog Party where you can read all about the specifics!

I'll be looking forward to February 26th so I can look at all the wonderful creations!

Expressing Gratitude

Expressing gratitude.

It takes just a moment to thank someone for the smallest or greatest of gestures.

My mom and dad raised us to express gratitude daily. It started at the breakfast table. "Thank you mom for a delicious breakfast, may I please be excused?" were usually the first words I uttered in the morning growing up! I wasn't really all that excited about sitting down at the breakfast table with my family in the morning. I know my mom put a lot of effort into preparing a well balanced meal for us to start our day and I am grateful for her and the meals she prepared.

Through the day my parents encouraged us to be appreciative of those who touched our lives. From our teachers, to our coaches, to our scout leaders and more we were taught to thank those who gave of their time to make our lives full.

At the end of the night we always got down on our knees to express our gratitude to God for the good day. What a wonderful way to end our day.

Expressing gratitude.

Sending New Year Cards

The last couple of years I haven't sent out Christmas cards to my family and friends. Instead I sit down in January with my fireplace burning and enjoy writing New Year Cards!

I am so much more relaxed and it gives me a chance to respond to the wonderful Christmas cards I have received. When I sent Christmas cards I felt rushed and I didn't really enjoy the process. Now that I send New Year cards I take the time to enjoy the spirit of the season so much more.

My mom writes about 200 Christmas cards a year. She also receives about 200 Christmas cards a year. On Christmas Day my mom, brother and I sit down with glasses of wine and read all of her cards as a family. It is a wonderful tradition! We catch up with everyone through their photos, letters, and cards. It is so much fun!

My mom and brother would tease me that I always didn't get all my cards sent before Christmas, so a couple of years ago I decided to start my own tradition by sending New Year cards. My friends love receiving the cards in January and I enjoy extending my holiday season into the new year!

Happy New Year!
